Chemical cleaning

Smet Jet has many years of experience in dry cleaning and surface treatment of contaminated, industrial installations. We have the necessary, appropriate equipment for dry cleaning and work with VCA trained personnel, who are retrained on a regular basis to work according to the standards of VCA P (VCA Petrochemie) and SIR.

Chemical cleaning may be used to:

Remove unwanted material (rust, lime scale, etc.) and production residue
Perform pretreatment ahead of the next processing step
Heat exchangers, reactors, steam boilers, pipe systems, etc.
Remove protective coatings (a series of specific chemical baths allows for all types of contamination and spills and coating (residues) to be removed)
Etching, passivation and degreasing of materials

During the process of dry cleaning, chemicals are mixed with the cleaning water. This mixture is propelled through the facilities provided for the purpose. This effectively dissolves and disposes of the undesirable substances such as lime, grease deposits and other contaminants. Afterwards, the contaminating products and the rinse water are disposed of by us to an approved processing center.
