Cold cutting

Cold cutting, also known as cold cutting, is a technique whereby metal or concrete can be cut. This is done by means of a cold water jet under extremely high pressure in combination with a specific abrasive. Cold cutting is fast, extremely precise and contactless. Moreover, this method is also much safer than cutting using heat, which means that no flames or sparks can occur. This results in less fire and explosion risk in gas pipelines.

Since this service is largely performed by means of water, no dust is produced and, moreover, only a minimal amount of waste is created. The residual materials are also disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner afterwards.
